I ordered my taillight assembly from Go-Parts.com and got it for less than the parts price quoted by my Chrysler dealership - and installed it with ease. This meant I also saved the cost of the rediculously high "labor" costs - my grandkid could have done it! Smooth sailing for me, matey! Jerry

The Pontiac Montana emerged as a variation on the American automaker's Trans Sport minivan in 1997. By adding new features to a reasonable popular design, Pontiac was able to transition the model without “discontinuing” it. In 1999, the Trans Sport nameplate was dropped, and the Montana took over the design. Though the design was popular in Canada and Mexico, Pontiac elected to discontinue the Montana in the United States, as American consumers were showing little interest in the minivan. And, though sales were reasonable elsewhere, General Motors began phasing out the Pontiac moniker in 2010, marking the end of the Pontiac Montana.
