Tools required:
  • T20 Torx Driver

  • Phillips screwdriver

  • Door Panel Clip Tool (or putty knife)

Step 1: Open the vehicle's door.

Step 2: Pull manual window handle's trim panel out, and then slide it up. Loosen and remove the T20 Torx screw (1).

In some models, the screw is visible without detaching the handle's trim panel.

Step 2: You can now remove the manual window crank.

Step 3: Loosen and remove the Phillips screw (1) just below the side mirror mount (on the interior).

Step 4: Loosen and remove the Phillips screw (1) located inside the interior door pull.

Step 5: Using the door panel clip tool (or putty knife), pry between the interior door panel and the door frame. Slide until you feel a retaining pin"when you do, pry outward to release it.

Continue this process around the outer edge of the door panel. It is worth nothing, however, that we only need to detach the UPPER interior door panel.

Step 6: You can now remove the interior door panel.

Step 7: To reattach the interior door panel, simply reverse the removal process.

Be sure that you tighten the Phillips screws and reattach the manual window crank!
