How do you Change, Replace, or Install Broken 1992-2000 Honda Civic A/C Heater Blower Motor

Fits years: 1992, 1993, 1994, 1995, 1996, 1997, 1998, 1999, 2000

Tools required:
  • 8mm socket/ratchet (T25 Torx or 5/16 socket will also work)

Step 1: Locate the blower motor underneath the glove compartment on the passenger's side of the vehicle.

Step 2: Disconnect the wiring harness from the blower motor.

Step 3: Locate the three retaining bolts that hold the blower motor in place and remove them.

Step 4: You can now pull the blower motor from the vehicle.

Step 5: Align the new blower motor and push it into place.

NOTE: Be sure to pull the wiring harness out of the way before pushing the motor into place!

Step 6: Tighten the retaining bolts to secure the new blower motor.

Step 7: Reconnect the wiring harness to the blower motor.
