Tools required:
  • Phillips screwdriver

  • Window Crank Removal Tool

Step 1: Open the vehicle's REAR door.

Step 2: Loosen and remove the Phillips screws (2) inside the interior door pull cup.

Step 3: Loosen and remove the Phillips screw (1) near the door latch.

Step 4: Loosen and remove the Phillips screw (1) near the bottom REAR corner of the door panel.

Step 5: Using the window crank removal tool, pry and remove the manual window crank.

NOTE: After removing the window crank, depress the retaining tab on the crank to "reset" it for installation later.

Step 6: You can now pry and remove the interior door panel from the door frame.

A series of retaining pins secures the door panel to the frame. You will hear them "pop" as they disengage from the door frame.

Step 7: To reattach the door panel, move the panel into position (using the door handle as your guide). Once in place, a FIRM (but not too firm) strike near each retaining pin will "pop" it back into place.

Step 8: "Snap" the window crank back into place.

Step 9: Tighten the Phillips screws (4).
