Tools required:

  • 8mm socket/ratchet

  • Phillips screwdriver

  • Flathead screwdriver

Step 1: Using the flathead screwdriver, disengage and remove the retaining clips (4) that line top of the front bumper cover.

To disengage these clips, you'll need to pry and lift the center of the clip. Once you have done so, you can easily pull them from their position.

Step 2: Disengage and remove the retaining clips (4) that line the UNDERSIDE of the front bumper cover.

These clips are the same as the clips removed in Step 1. However, if your vehicle has been repaired in the past, you may see screws of some sort used instead of these retaining clips.

Step 3: Loosen and remove the 8mm bolts (2 " 1 per side) inside each wheel well.

Step 4: You can now pull out each side of the front bumper cover, freeing it from the vehicle.

Step 5: To reattach the bumper cover, move the bumper cover into position, pushing it into place. You can now re-engage the retaining clips that line the top of the bumper cover.

Step 6: Re-engage the retaining clips (or screws) that line the underside of the bumper cover.

Step 7: Tighten the 8mm bolts (2 " 1 per side).
