Step 2: Locate the blower motor on the passenger's side of the vehicle near the engine area's firewall.
Step 3: Remove the two 8mm retaining bolts that hold the wiring bundle in place.
These bolts are near the top of the blower motor. You will need an extension for these bolts.
Step 4: Disconnect the wiring harness attached to the blower motor.
Step 5: Now that you can push the wiring bundle out of the way, remove the ratchet's extension and remove the other 8mm retaining bolts. There will be 2 of them.
Step 6: Disconnect the rubber hose from the vehicle's firewall.
Step 7: You can now remove the blower motor from the vehicle.
Step 8: Slide the gasket onto the new blower motor, and begin mounting it to the vehicle.
There are guiding studs on the blower motor. Use them to ensure proper installation.
Step 9: Attach the rubber hose to the vehicle's firewall.
Step 10: Connect the blower motor's wiring harness.
Step 11: Secure the blower motor by tightening the four 8mm retaining bolts.
Tighten the lower bolts first, as the upper bolts will also involve moving the wiring bundle back into position.
Step 12: Be sure that the wiring bundle is properly secured.
