Step 2: Using the flathead screwdriver, pry open the small plug/panel that is inside the interior door handle. Remove the Phillips screw exposed.
Step 3: Disconnect the rod's retaining clip from the back of the interior door handle. Disconnect the wiring harness attached to the back of the door handle.
Step 4: Connect the wiring harness to the new interior door handle.
Step 5: Engage the clip that secures the locking rod to the back of the interior door handle.
Step 6: Mount the interior door handle by tightening the Phillips screw. Reattach the small plug that covers the screw.
