Step 2: Remove the 10mm bolt located on the top of the headlight assembly.
Step 3: Remove the 8mm bolt that secures the reservoir in place. Once it is removed, slide the reservoir out of the way, as you'll need the space to access the mounting bolts on the back of the assembly.
Step 4: Remove the four 10mm bolts located on the back of the headlight assembly.
Step 5: You can now pull the headlight assembly from the vehicle.
Step 6: Disconnect the wiring harnesses from the back of the assembly.
NOTE: If you ordered your replacement headlight from Go-Parts, it likely includes new bulbs, as most of our models do. This saves you an installation step! However, if your particular model does not include bulbs, simply turn the sockets counter-clockwise to remove them, and attach them to the new assembly. This process takes just a few moments!
Step 7: Connect the wiring harnesses to the back of the new headlight assembly.
Step 8: Secure the headlight assembly by tightening the five 10mm mounting bolts.
Step 9: Secure the reservoir by tightening the 8mm retaining bolts.
NOTE: If you need to adjust the headlight (which we recommend), use a 4mm socket to adjust the alignment bolts. Use the level that is located above the headlight to ensure proper alignment.
