7mm socket/ratchet with extension (E8 socket will also suffice)
10mm socket/ratchet with extension
Step 1: Open the vehicle's hood.
Step 2: Lift and remove the panel that covers the headlight's mounting area.
Step 3: Remove the E8/7mm bolt that is located near the upper/outer area of the headlight mount.
Step 4: You can now pull the parking light assembly from the vehicle. Disconnect its wiring harness.
Step 5: Remove the four 10mm retaining bolts that secure the headlight to the vehicle.
Two are located in the area exposed by the parking light's removal, one is located on the inner/upper portion of the assembly, and the final bolt is located on the inner/lower portion.
Step 6: You can now pull the headlight from the vehicle.
Step 7: Disconnect the wiring harness that powers the headlight assembly.
NOTE: If you ordered your replacement headlight from Go-Parts, it likely includes new bulbs, sockets, and wiring, as most of our models do. This saves you an installation step! However, if your particular model does not, you can easily transfer the sockets, bulbs, and wiring from the old assembly to the new one. This process takes just a few moments!
Step 8: Connect the wiring harness to the new headlight assembly.
Step 9: Mount the new headlight to the vehicle by tightening the 10mm mounting bolts.
Step 10: Reconnect the vehicle's parking light, and mount it by tightening the E8/7mm bolt.
NOTE: To align the headlight's beam, use a Phillips screwdriver and the level that is attached to the assembly to adjust the unit.
