Step 2: Remove the hand-screw that holds the trunk liner in place over the tail light's mounting area.
Step 3: Pull the trunk liner back to expose the mounting area.
Step 4: Remove the hand-screws that secure the tail light assembly to the vehicle.
Step 5: You can now pull the tail light assembly from the vehicle.
Step 6: Disconnect the tail light's wiring harness.
NOTE: If you ordered your replacement tail light from Go-Parts, it likely includes new bulbs, as most of our models do. This saves you an installation step! However, if your particular model does not have bulbs included, simply twist the sockets counter-clockwise to remove the bulbs from the old assembly, and attach them to the new one. This process takes just a few moments.
Step 7: Connect the wiring harness to the back of the new tail light assembly.
Step 8: Secure the tail light by tightening the 2 hand-screws.
Step 9: Replace the trunk liner and secure it by tightening the hand-screw that holds it in place.
