Phillips screwdriver (for passenger's side headlight assembly)
Step 1: Lift the vehicle's hood.
NOTE: If you are replacing the passenger's side headlight assembly, you will need to remove the air duct covering the area. Two Phillips screws hold this piece in place.
Step 2: Pull the release ring to disengage the parking light/turn signal casing from the vehicle. Turn the socket counter-clockwise to free the bulb and completely remove the casing.
Step 3: Remove the plug covers on top of the headlight assembly and remove the 3 T20 Torx screws.
Two screws are located beneath the plugs on top of the assembly, and the 3rd is located on the side of the assembly.
Step 4: You can how pull the headlight assembly from the vehicle.
Step 5: Disconnect the wiring harnesses from the back of the headlight assembly.
NOTE: If you ordered your replacement headlight from Go-Parts, it likely includes new bulbs/sockets, as many of our models do! However, in case it doesn't, you can easily remove the bulbs from the old assembly and install them in the new one!
Step 6: Connect the wiring harnesses to the back of the new headlight assembly.
Step 7: Move your new assembly into place using the small tab in the inside edge of the casing as your guide. It will fit into place near the radiator.
Step 8: Secure the headlight assembly by tightening the 3 T20 screws.
Step 9: Reattach the parking light/turn signal.
