Step 2: Loosen and remove the Phillips screw (1) inside the interior door handle. Pull the handle out from the door and disengage the retaining clip (1) that secures the locking rod to the back of the handle assembly.
Step 3: Pry and remove the power window control plate. Disconnect the wiring harness (1) attached to the underside of the control plate.
Step 4: Pry and remove the arm rest pad trim panel.
Step 5: Pry and remove the trim panel near the side mirror mount.
Step 6: Loosen and remove the Phillips screws (2) exposed by removing the arm rest pad.
Step 7: Loosen and remove the Phillips retaining pin (1) near the door latch.
Step 8: You can now pry and remove the interior door panel from the frame.
A series of retaining clips secures the panel to the door frame. As you pry outward, you will hear the clips "pop" as they disengage.
Step 9: LIFT and remove the door panel from the door frame.
Step 10: To reattach the interior door panel, slide it over the locking lever, and down onto the door frame.
Step 11: Tighten the Phillips screws (2) and Phillips retaining pin (1).
Step 12: Re-engage the locking rod (1) to the back of the interior door handle.
Step 13: Reconnect the wiring harness to the power window plate and "snap" it back into position.
Step 14: Reattach the arm rest and side mirror trim panels.
