Step 2: Remove the Phillips screw (located on top of the assembly) to remove the turn signal/parking light assembly.
Step 3: Turn the bulb counter-clockwise to remove it from the casing. Fully remove the casing from the vehicle.
Step 4: Disconnect the wiring harness from the back of the headlight assembly.
Step 5: Remove the three 10mm retaining bolts that hold the headlight assembly in place.
For the 10mm bolt on the back of the assembly, hold onto the stud with a 4mm socket/ratchet, as it will turn with the nut if you do not hold it in place. There is a bolt on top of the assembly, and the other is located in the space created by removing the turn signal assembly.
Step 6: You can now remove the headlight assembly from the vehicle.
NOTE: If you ordered your replacement headlight from Go-Parts, it likely includes new bulbs, as most of our models do. This saves you an installation step! However, in case your model does not include the new bulb, simply turn the socket counter-clockwise, remove the bulb from the old assembly, and insert it into the new one.
Step 7: Lengthen or shorten the adjustment stud on the back of the headlight assembly to match that of the old one. This ensures proper lighting alignment.
Step 8: Connect the wiring harness to the back of the new headlight assembly.
Step 9: Secure the new assembly into place by tightening the three 10mm retaining bolts.
Step 10: Reattach the turn signal assembly, and secure it by tightening the Phillips retaining screw.
