Step 1: Using the flathead screwdriver, pry the small panel that the bottom of your door pull loose.
Step 2: Pry the switch-plate panel loose and disconnect the wiring harness that is attached to the back.
Step 3: Remove the 3 Phillips screws exposed by the removal of the switch-plate.
Step 4: Remove the T25 screws located on the bottom of the interior door panel.
Step 5: Gently pry the interior door panel away from the door frame.
You will feel the small retaining clips disengage from the door frame. Use a putty knife or clip tool if necessary.
Step 6: You can now remove the interior door panel.
Step 7: Disengage the interior door handle.
Pull the door handle to the "open" position and slide the wire out of the assembly.
Step 8: Disconnect the wiring harnesses attached to the back of the interior door panel.
Step 9: Remove the small trim panel that covers the mirror's mounting point.
Step 10: Disconnect the mirror's wiring harness.
Step 11: Remove the T47 Torx bolt that secures the mirror to the side mirror.
NOTE: Be sure to hold onto the side mirror as you are removing the mounting bolt. You don't want to be sweeping glass up from your garage floor or driveway!
Step 12: Feed the wiring through the opening in the door frame, and mount the mirror to the door by tightening the T47 retaining bolt.
Step 13: Connect the mirror's wiring harness.
Step 14: Reattach the interior door panel.
Reverse the interior door panel's removal process. Be sure to properly connect the door handle wires, connect all wiring harnesses, and replace the small trim panels that cover bolting areas.
