Step 1: Remove the covering plug of the mirror-mount trim panel, and unscrew the Phillips screw behind it.
Step 2: In the door handle, locate and remove the Phillips screw.
Step 3: Inside the interior door handle, remove the T25 Torx screw.
Step 4: Using the clip tool or putty knife, begin prying the interior door panel away from the door frame. You may want to use a towel your putty knife to prevent scratching.
Step 5: You can now remove the interior door panel.
Step 6: Disconnect the wiring harness that powers the window control panel and mirror.
Step 7: Disengage the door-handle rods.
You can pull these rods up and then they will pull from their contact point.
Step 8: Gently remove the rubber pad that protects the mirror's mounting point.
Step 9: Remove the three retaining bolts that secure the mirror to the vehicle.
NOTE: Be sure that you hold onto the side mirror as you are removing the final bolt. You don't want to be sweeping up broken glass in your garage!
Step 10: Feed the wiring bundle of your new side mirror through the opening and begin bolting the new mirror to the vehicle door.
Step 11: Replace the rubber pad that protects the mounting area.
Step 12: Connect the mirror's wiring harness.
Step 13: Connect the window control panel's wiring harness and reattach the interior door panel.
