Step 1: Disconnect the negative battery cable using the 8mm wrench.
This prevents your battery from dying, as you'll have the doors open for a little while!
Step 2: Open the door.
Step 3: Remove the small light panel near the bottom of the interior door panel using the flathead screwdriver.
Step 4: Using the flathead screwdriver, gently lift the window control panel and disconnect the wiring harnesses attached to it.
Step 5: Gently remove the side mirror mount trim panel.
Step 6: Using the 7mm socket/ratchet with extension, remove the bolt that is inside the window control panel area and the one exposed by removing the lower light panel.
Step 7: You can now lift and remove the interior door panel.
Step 8: Turn the small courtesy light's socket counter-clockwise to pull it from the panel.
Step 9: Your door panel should now be completely free from the door frame.
Step 10: For reinstallation, use the guiding clips to ensure proper alignment, screw the courtesy light into place, and feed the harnesses through the proper openings in the door panel. Snap it into place.
Step 11: Reconnect the wiring harnesses.
Step 12: Tighten the two 7mm retaining screws.
Step 13: Reattach the small mirror trim panel.
Step 14: Reattach the switch panel.
Step 15: Reconnect the battery terminal.
NOTE: It is good practice to check all of the switches and controls to be sure that everything was installed/reconnected properly!
