Step 2: Pry and remove the screw cover (1) inside the interior door handle, exposing a T20 screw (1). Loosen and remove this screw.
Step 3: Loosen and remove the T20 Torx screws (8) that line the sides and bottom edge of the interior door panel.
Step 4: Pry and remove the interior door pull's trim panel, exposing 1/4 inch bolts (2). Loosen and remove these bolts.
Step 5: Pry and remove the interior door handle's bezel. Disconnect the wiring harnesses (2) from the back of the bezel.
Step 6: Pry and remove the small trim panel covering the side mirror's mounting area.
Step 7: You can now lift and remove the interior door panel.
Step 8: To reattach the interior door panel, simply reverse the removal process.
NOTE: Some may find it easier to REMOVE the interior door handle assembly before reattaching the door panel. This is all a matter of preference. We find it to be a bit easier without the handle attached to the door frame, but it's up to you!
Be sure to tighten the T20 screws (8), the 1/4 inch bolts (2), and reconnect all of the wiring harnesses! Further, be sure that you reattach the trim panels and bezels! If you did remove the interior door handle, simply re-engage the locking rods to the back of the door handle assembly, and secure it to the door.
