Step 2: Pull and detach the rubber/foam liner that spans the width of the hood, just below the windshield wipers.
You only have to separate it from the vehicle to make enough room to lift the trim panel just above it.
Step 3: Lift the trim panel, and pull the cabin air filter (1) from the vehicle.
Step 4: Insert the new cabin air filter (1) into the assembly.
NOTE: The arrows should point DOWN when inserting the filter.
Step 5: Lower the trim panel to cover the area.
Step 6: Reattach the rubber/foam liner to complete the installation.
