Step 2: Loosen and remove the two 10mm bolts on each side of the radiator.
These bolts help to hold the front bumper cover in place (which we will be removing).
Step 3: Using the Phillips screwdriver, remove the clips that line the wheel well (securing the bumper cover in place).
There will be 3 on each side, and 2 beneath the grille area.
Step 4: Pull the trunk liner back and remove the final Phillips clip. Do this for each side.
These clips are behind the bumper cover, beneath the wheel well liner.
Step 5: Remove the 10mm retaining bolts that line the underside of the bumper cover.
Step 6: You can now remove the front bumper cover. If you have fog lights, disconnect them.
Step 7: Loosen and remove the four 10mm bolts that hold the headlight assembly in place.
Step 8: You can now pull the headlight assembly from the vehicle.
Step 9: Disconnect the wiring harness from the back of the assembly.
NOTE: If you ordered your replacement headlight from Go-Parts, it likely includes new bulbs, as most of our models do. This saves you an installation step! However, if your particular model does not, simply transfer the sockets and bulbs from the old assembly to the new one. This process takes just a few moments!
Step 10: Connect the wiring harness to the new assembly.
Step 11: Mount the new headlight into place by tightening the 10mm retaining bolts.
Step 12: Reattach the front bumper cover.
Reverse the removal process. Be sure to re-engage all of the retaining clips and tighten all of the bolts.
