How do you Change, Replace, or Install 2001-2007 Volvo S70 Radiator Cooling Fan Replacement

Step 1: Open the vehicle's hood.
Step 2: Disconnect the air intake hose from the TOP of the radiator. You can now remove it at its OTHER end.
Step 3: Disconnect the wiring connections (2) located near the TOP of the radiator fan.
These wiring bundles are held to the radiator using zip ties. Cut these ties with the wire cutters, and remove the remaining segments from the vehicle.
Step 4: Loosen and remove the 10mm bolt (1) located on the TOP of the radiator.
Step 5: Loosen and remove the 10mm bolts (2) in the UPPER CORNERS of the radiator.
Step 6: Cut the zip tie that attaches to the oil dipstick.
Step 7: Slide the purge valve hose out of the way (lining the top of the radiator), and you can now LIFT and remove the radiator fan from the vehicle.
Step 8: Slide the NEW radiator fan into position. Be sure to use the guiding tabs on the BOTTOM of the fan assembly to ensure proper placement.
Step 9: Secure the radiator fan to the vehicle by tightening the 10mm bolts (2).
Step 10: Be sure that the purge hose/valve are properly connected. Tighten the 10mm bolt (1) to secure it.
Step 11: Connect the wiring connections (2). Secure the wiring bundles to the radiator using the zip ties.
Step 12: Reattach the zip tie near the dipstick.
Step 13: Reattach the air intake to the TOP of the radiator.
