Step 2: Using the flathead screwdriver, pry and remove the door lock lever near the top of the interior door panel.
Step 3: Pry and remove the interior door handle bezel from the door panel.
Step 4: Pry and remove the small trim panel inside the interior door pull, exposing Phillips screws (2). Loosen and remove these screws.
Step 5: You can now pry and remove the interior door panel.
A series of retaining clips secure the door panel to the frame. You will hear them "pop" as they disengage.
Step 6: Loosen and remove the 10mm bolt (1) that secures the interior door handle to the frame. Slide the assembly forward to remove it from the vehicle. Disengage the locking rod.
Step 7: Loosen and remove the 10mm bolts (4) that secures the mounting plate to the door frame. Disengage the retaining clip securing the wiring bundle to the plate.
Step 8: GENTLY peel back the water shield. Be careful not to tear it, as we'll need to reattach it later!
Step 9: Loosen and remove the 10mm bolts (2) that secure the window pane to the regulator.
Step 10: CAREFULLY slide the window pane up into the CLOSED position. Secure it by using the painter's tape over the TOP of the window frame.
Step 11: Use the pliers to disengage the retaining clips that secure the electrical box to the door frame.
Step 12: Loosen and remove the 10mm bolts (5) that secure the regulator/motor assembly to the vehicle.
Step 13: You can now remove the power window regulator assembly from the door frame. Disconnect the motor's wiring harness (1). Loosen and remove the T30 screws that secure the motor to the OLD regulator, and transfer it to the new regulator.
Step 14: Move the NEW regulator into position, and secure it by tightening the 10mm bolts (5). Connect the regulator's wiring harness (1).
Step 15: CAREFULLY lower the window pane onto the regulator. Tighten the 10mm bolts (2) to secure the window pane to the regulator.
Step 16: "Snap" the electrical box onto the door frame.
Step 17: Reattach the door handle and mounting plate.
Step 17: Reattach the water shield.
Step 18: Using the guiding pins on the back of the panel as a guide, reattach the interior door panel. With a firm "strike" near each retaining pin, you can reattach the door panel.
Step 19: Tighten the Phillips screws (2) inside the interior door pull and reattach the trim panel.
Step 20: Reattach the interior door handle's bezel.
Step 21: "Snap" the door lock lever back into place.
