Step 5: Pry and remove the interior door handle's bezel. Loosen and remove the 10mm bolts (2).
Step 6: Pry and separate the interior door panel from the door frame. As you pull outward, you will hear the retaining clips "pop" as they disengage.
A series of retaining clips runs along the outer edge of the panel, securing it to the frame.
Step 7: Disengage the retaining clips (2) that secure the locking rods to the back of the interior door panel.
Step 8: Disconnect the wiring harness (1) from the back of the interior door panel.
NOTE: It isn't uncommon for retaining clips to stay with the door frame upon panel removal. If this is the case for your vehicle, use the pliers to pull them free from the frame. Reattach them to the door panel.
Step 9: To reattach the interior door panel, reconnect the wiring harness (1) and re-engage the locking cables.
NOTE: The cable labeled with an "L" is the locking cable. This cable attaches to the HIGHER of the two connections.
Step 10: Move the door panel into position on the door frame and with a FIRM, but not too firm, strike, you can "pop" all of the retaining clips back into position.
Step 11: Tighten the 10mm bolts (6).
Step 12: Reattach the interior door handle's bezel.
Step 13: Reconnect the wiring harnesses (2) to the underside of the power window control plate and "snap" it back into place.
Step 14: Reattach the screw covers (2).
