Step 2: Pry and remove the interior door pull's trim panel/bezel. Loosen and remove the T25 Torx screws (2).
Step 3: Using the door panel clip tool (or putty knife), pry and separate the interior door panel from the door frame.
A series of retaining clips secures the panel to the door frame. By sliding the tool between the panel and the frame, and working your way around the outer edge of the panel, you'll feel each retaining clip. When you do, pry outward. It should "pop" as it disengages.
Step 4: LIFT and remove the interior door panel from the door frame.
Step 5: Disengage the retaining clips (2) that secure the locking cable to the back of the door panel. Disconnect the wiring harness (1).
Step 6: The panel should now be completely free of the vehicle.
Step 7: To reattach the door panel, re-engage the retaining clips (2) to secure the locking cable to the back of the panel. Connect the wiring harness (1).
Step 8: Slide the panel OVER the locking lever, and with a FIRM, but not too firm, strike near each retaining clip, you can "snap" them back into place.
Step 9: Tighten the T25 Torx screws (2).
Step 10: Reattach the interior door pull's trim panel/bezel.
