How do you Change, Replace, or Install Broken 2011-2013 Buick Regal Tail Light Replacement

Fits Years: 2011, 2012, 2013
All Buick Regal Tail Lights for sale

Tools required:

  • Flathead screwdriver

Step 1: Open the vehicle's trunk.

Step 2: Pry and remove the retaining pin (1) located near the top of the trunk liner. Pull back the trunk liner to expose the REAR of the tail light mount.

To release this pin, simply pry and remove the center of the pin, and then pull the casing from its position.

Step 3: Loosen and remove the hand-screws (2) that secure the tail light assembly to the vehicle.

Step 4: You can now unseat and remove the tail light assembly from the vehicle.

Step 5: Disconnect the tail light's wiring harness (1).

NOTE: If you ordered your replacement light assembly from Go-Parts, it likely includes new sockets and bulbs, as most of our models do. This saves you an installation step! However, if your particular model does not, simply twist and remove the sockets/bulbs from the old assembly and mount them to the new one.

Step 6: Connect the wiring harness (1) to the NEW tail light assembly.

Step 7: Mount the tail light by moving the assembly into position and securing it by tightening the hand-screws (2).

Step 8: Reattach the trunk liner.
