Radiators – Which Brand is Right for Me?

Not all radiators are created equally. Because of the importance of the radiator to your engine's longevity and performance, making the right brand selection a crucial decision! Lesser brands are prone to rusting, causing leaks that ultimately result in coolant loss and engine overheating. And, because the cooling fan assembly is mounted directly to the radiator, such leaks can lead to damage to other components. In many cases, a cheap radiator alternative leads to a cooling system overhaul, causing an auto repair nightmare for the vehicle’s owner! Higher-end radiator brands, such as KOYO and TYC, which we carry at Go-Parts.com, boast better construction, a longer life span, and improved performance. Again, we cannot overstate the importance of a well-built radiator!

Just wanted you to know that I was pleasantly surprised with my "Go-Parts" experience. I rarely buy online, and now that I'm older, I rarely work on my car. Recently, though, I could hear the bearing going out on the radiator cooling fan on my 2006 PT Cruiser. I finally decided to fix it myself. I'm glad I did. After buying a repair manual, I could see the repair would be a bit challenging. The auto parts store at the corner was asking over $200 for the part, and I'm sure the dealer would be asking well over $350. Add in labor and all the other extras they would want to charge me for (drain and flush radiator, etc.) and I anticipated the dealer charging over $600. I needed the part soon--it was getting pretty noisy and decided to quit driving the car on Wednesday. I ordered the part on Thursday afternoon. FedEx delivered it on Saturday morning. Perfect! With delivery, the fan cost me just over $100 from Go-Parts. By Saturday evening, I was back on the road. The experience could not have been any better. Unfortunately, I didn't find the flyer about making a video until after I was done! Probably just as well--I had a lot to learn. (o: I'm glad you're interested in customer satisfaction.
