Social Responsibility

In support of one of our close friends and employees, Vaibhav Kumar, we are now donating 1% of our sales to the Muscular Dystrophy Association. We would like to note that this is coming out of the total sale, not a donation in addition to your purchase. Nothing will change in terms of our prices!

By assisting with funding for the research and development of treatments, and hopefully, one day, a cure, we are doing what we can to help take up the fight for this incredibly debilitating condition. There are 400-600 new cases of MD in the United States each year, so it's important that we raise awareness of the disease, while doing our part to increase the chances that can develop some more effective diagnosis methods.

Muscular Dystrophy is a condition that weakens an individual's muscular system, progressively worsening until the muscles are whittled away. Patients endure a difficult disease that usually renders them to a wheelchair, and in need of assistance to handle menial tasks. The pain and mental difficulties of slowly seeing one's muscles deteriorate can be incredibly draining.

With your help, we can help the Muscular Dystrophy Association raise the funding they need to continue their great work in the field.

We understand that there may be a different cause that you'd like to support, which is why we also give you the option of selecting which charitable organization you'd like us to support with 1% of your purchase. When checking out, you will be able to select from 5 of the most popular groups currently raising funds. If you do not make a selection, the Muscular Dystrophy Association acts as our default organization.

The other charities are as follows:

  • The Red Cross
  • Boys & Girls Club of America
  • Wounded Warrior Project
  • UNICEF
  • World Wildlife Fund

Thank you for your support!
