How do you Change, Replace, or Install Broken 1992-1996 Ford F-150, F-250, F-350 Side Marker Light Replacement

Fits years: 1992, 1993, 1994, 1995, 1996

All for sale Tools required:
  • 10mm deep socket/ratchet

  • 11mm deep socket/ratchet

  • Phillips screwdriver

Step 1: Open the vehicle's hood.

Step 2: Loosen and remove the 10mm bolts (2) that secure the head/marker light assembly to the vehicle.

These bolts are located on the BACK of the assembly near the battery. If you'd like more space to work, you can remove the battery.

Step 3: Loosen and remove the Phillips screws (2) located on TOP of the headlight assembly.

Step 4: You can now pull the turn signal/marker light assembly from the vehicle. Disconnect the wiring harnesses (2).

NOTE: Some models may not use wiring harnesses, which means that you'll have to turn the sockets (2) COUNTER CLOCKWISE and pull them from the assembly.

Step 5: Loosen and remove the 11mm bolts (2) that secure the side marker light to the turn signal/marker assembly. You can also remove the small brace.

Step 6: You can now remove the marker light from the assembly.

Step 7: Slide the new side marker light into place, and secure it to the assembly by tightening the 11mm bolts (2).

Step 8: Reattach the brace.

Step 9: Connect the wiring harnesses (2) to the back of the assembly, and slide it into position.

Step 10: Secure the marker light assembly by tightening the Phillips screws (2) and 10mm bolts (2).
