Step 4: Loosen and remove the T20 Torx screws (3) that line the bottom edge of the interior door panel.

Step 5: Using the door panel clip tool (or putty knife), pry and remove the interior door panel from the frame.

A series of retaining pins that secures the door panel to the door frame. You will hear them "pop" as they disengage.

Step 6: Disconnect the wiring harnesses (5) from the back of the interior door panel. Disengage the locking rod (1) from the back of the interior door handle.

Step 7: The door panel should now be completely free from the vehicle.

Step 8: Pry and remove the screw cover/plugs (2), exposing T30 Torx screws.

Step 9: Raise or lower the window until you can see the Torx screws from Step 8 in the openings.

NOTE: If your window regulator is non-functioning, you can likely use your hands to raise and lower the window. However, if there is still some life left in the regulator, you may need to reconnect the window switch to raise/lower it.

Step 10: Loosen and remove the T30 Torx screws (2) that secure the window pane to the regulator rail.

Step 11: CAREFULLY lift the window pane to the TOP of the window frame. Secure it using the painter's tape.

Step 12: Loosen and remove the T30 Torx screws (3) that secure the power window motor to the door frame. Disconnect the motor's wiring harness (1). You can now remove the power window motor.

Step 13: Disconnect the speaker's wiring harness (1). Pry and remove the wiring bundle from the clips that secure it to the door frame.

Step 14: Loosen and remove the 10mm bolts (9) that secure the interior paneling to the door frame. You can now pry and remove the panel. Disconnect the wiring harness (1) attached to the back of the panel.

You will need to feed some of the wiring and rods THROUGH the panel to remove it.

Step 15: The power window regulator is attached to the BACK of the panel that we removed in Step 14.

Step 16: Using the drill and 1/4 inch bit, drill and remove the rivets (4) that secure the regulator to the door panel.

Step 17: You can now remove the regulator from the door panel.

Step 18: Mount the NEW power window regulator to the panel by tightening the nuts/bolts (4) to replace the rivets.

Step 19: Tighten the 10mm bolts (9) to secure the panel to the door frame.

NOTE: Be sure to feed the wiring harnesses, cables, and rods through the panel before mounting! Also, be sure to raise the regulator so you can easily access the T30 bolts that secure the window pane to the regulator rail.

Step 20: Reattach the wiring bundle clips to the door panel. Tighten the T30 Torx screws (3) to secure the motor assembly to the panel. Connect the motor's wiring harness (1) and speaker's wiring harness (1).

Step 21: CAREFULLY lower the window pane onto the regulator rail. Secure it by tightening the T30 Torx screws (2).

Step 22: To reattach the door panel, simply reverse the removal process.

Move the panel into position, reconnect the wiring harnesses and locking rod, then begin mounting the panel. With a FIRM (but not too firm) strike near each retaining pin, you should hear it "snap" into place. You can then tighten the Phillips screws (2) and T20 Torx screws (3). Reattach the interior door pull's trim panel to finalize installation.
