How do you Change, Replace, or Install Broken 1999-2003 Jeep Grand Cherokee Fog Light Replacement

Fits years: 1999, 2000, 2001, 2002, 2003

All Jeep Grand Cherokee Fog Lights for sale Tools required:
  • 10mm socket/wrench

  • Penetrating Oil (WD40, for example)

  • Vise Grips (possibly)

Step 1: Locate and remove the two 10mm bolts that are on the underside of the front end.

These two bolts hold the fog light in place. You may need penetrating oil, as these bolts have been exposed to the elements while driving.

NOTE: If the studs that secure the fog light to the vehicle "pull out" of the assembly during remove, you may need to remove the studs from the new assembly, use penetrating oil and vise grips to remove the old studs from the vehicle, and reattach using the new studs accordingly.

Step 2: Remove the fog light assembly.

Step 3: Unplug the wiring harness.

Step 4: Connect the wiring harness to the new fog light assembly.

Step 5: Insert the new fog light into the opening and bolt it into place.
