How do you Change, Replace, or Install Broken 2001-2006 Dodge Stratus Rear Door Panel (Interior) Replacement

Fits years: 2001, 2002, 2003, 2004, 2005, 2006

All Dodge Stratus for sale Tools required:

  • Flathead screwdriver

  • Phillips screwdriver

  • Door Panel Clip Tool (or putty knife)

Step 1: Open the vehicle's door.

Step 2: Pry and remove the screw covers (2) located inside the door pull and interior door handle.

Step 3: Loosen and remove the Phillips screws (2) located behind these screw covers.

Step 4: Loosen and remove the Phillips screws (2) located along the bottom edge of the interior door panel.

Step 5: Using the door panel clip tool (or putty knife), pry and separate the interior door panel from the door frame.

A series of retaining pins holds the panel to the door frame. As you slide your tool between the panel and door frame, you'll feel a pin " when you do, pry outward.

Step 6: Disconnect the wiring harness (1) from the back of the interior door panel.

Step 7: Disengage the retaining clip (1) that secures the locking rod to the back of the interior door handle.

Step 8: Transfer any retaining pins that may have stayed with the door frame back to the interior door panel.

Step 9: To reattach the door panel, reconnect the wiring harness (1), re-engage the locking rod (1), and slide the panel into position. With a FIRM strike near each retaining pin, you can re-engage them, securing the panel to the door.

Step 10: Tighten the Phillips screws (4) to finalize the installation.
