For 2003 Ford Explorer and Mercury Mountaineer models, it is critical to match the ID number from your original module. This part is a direct replacement only for modules with an ID number beginning with 3L2T-15604 or 4L2T-15604. It will not work for modules with an ID starting with 2L2T-15604.
