I was in need of a new passenger side mirror on my 2004 Honda Element, seems my son didn't see the large pole he was parking next too. I checked with the local Honda dealer and was flabbergasted by the cost of the part and installation - nearly $400!! Additionally, the dealer didn't have the part in stock and it would be 1-2 weeks until they got one. The mirror didn't look all that difficult to remove and install, so I did some web surfing to find the part elsewhere. Go-part.com came up in my first search. The website was really easy to maneuver through and in a very short time I had found the mirror I needed at a very reasonable cost!! I ordered the part and within 2 days it was delivered to my home. The installation instructions were very easy follow and within 10 minutes I had removed my old mirror and replaced it with my new mirror!! Go-part.com had even suggested I record the installation and submit to them, but I didn't have anyone to hold the camera while I worked. I have recommended this site to many of my friends who need parts for their cars.

The prices at go-part.com were amazing. One of the cheapest out there. The customer service may leave a little to be desired. The customer service number is pretty much a voice mail, no matter what option you select when calling. That is a bit frustrating if you have an issue that needs immediate attention. I had shipping issues. Apparently the original shipment was lost in transit. I found a manager's email address on a review website & contacted him. He responded within 48 hours, notified me of the situation, advised me he was crediting my account for the original shipping fee, and sending me the same part by express shipping free of charge. I was highly impressed by his reaction to my issue and his willingness to go that extra mile. The part came packaged very well & safely. We have yet to install it, but plan to today. It was exactly what I ordered. If I need more parts in the future, I will more than likely order from them. I just hope they update their custom

I have not yet recieved my order due to the GO-PART.COM's in ability to know that it would cost them $20 more to ship to my location. It took them SIX DAYS to figure this out! Which tells me that their shipping department is slower than molasas in December! The staff I spoke with were professional and curtious. Though I cannot believe their lack of promptness in the whole process. They tell me that it will be at sent out today or tommorrow and I will have to trust them on that because they do not issue USPS prioriy tracking numbers to their customers. All in all, the price was right but there is work GO-PART.COM could do to improve their process and make the experience more seemless and efficient. At this point I am a neutral customer, if they deliver I will be a positive customer, with reservations about their shipping department's understanding of mondern technology.
